A voluntary initiative from LSC in support of Swachh Bharat Mission launched by GoI
Shooters and parents participate wholeheartedly in the Swachh Bharat Mission – Matheran Cleaning drive on the occasion of India’s Independence Day.
LSC promotes physical fitness in different ways and one of the best ways is by going on treks. Another unique feature of our treks is the motive of cleaning the beautiful mountains, this is done through cleanliness campaigns on occasions like Gandhi Jayanti, Independence Day and Republic Day.
Previously, our social media videos of the clean-up drive had gone viral and the ultimate success was observed when the then Hon’ble Sports Minister of India, Mr. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore had tweeted about the campaign.
