Lakshya Cup

  1. High level of Competition: Top 20 ranked Indian Men and Women in Air Rifle event.
  2. Gender Parity since 2008:
    • Men and Women competitors fire equal number of shots each i.e. 60. This is being done by us way before International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) changed the old rule of 60 shots for men and 40 shots for women to new rule of 60 shots for both in 2018.
    • Men and Women compete together for the Cup.
  3. All Silver Rotating Cup: The champion gets to keep the Cup till the succeeding edition of Lakshya Cup.
  4. Prizes: The 13th RR Lakshya Cup, 2022 edition had the prize pool of about ₹ 7.5 Lacs that included ₹ 5.5 Lacs in cash and more than ₹ 2 Lacs in kind. The winner took home ₹ 1.5 lacs.
